EDUCATION
The Education piece for the Foundation will consist of multiple areas to positively impact others. They include:
Continuing Education Sponsorship for credit hours
Monies towards educational grants or scholarships
Knowledge host to others through:
- Websites
- Articles
- Support Groups
*The Foundation's objective is to be able to Educate others about sensitive issues pertaining to pediatric brain cancer.
Hosted a retreat for a group of child life specialist.
The topic was Self Care.
Paula D'Arcy speaks to nurses and staff about how to cope with being in a profession that deals in palliative and hospice care.
